How to use lactic acid electrode

Lactate electrode is an electrochemical sensor used to measure lactic acid content. The method of using the lactic acid electrode is as follows:
1. Prepare the sample: collect the liquid to be measured (such as blood, urine, etc.) into a container.
2. Clean the electrode: Gently clean the lactic acid electrode with deionized water or 75% alcohol, and dry it with paper towels.
3. Calibration: Insert the electrode into the calibration solution and calibrate it according to the instruction manual of the lactic acid electrode to ensure accurate measurement.
4. Soaking: Completely immerse the electrode into the liquid to be measured, ensuring that the liquid surface covers the electrode head to avoid air bubbles entering the electrode.
5. Stable: Wait for a period of time until the measurement value displayed by the instrument is stable and no longer changes.
6. Read the measurement value: Read the measurement result of lactic acid content according to the display on the instrument or the instruction manual.
7. Clean the electrode: Use deionized water to clean the electrode, and then dry it with paper towels to prevent residue from affecting the next measurement.
The following points need to be noted:
- Before using the lactic acid electrode, ensure that the instrument and electrode are properly calibrated.
- Follow the instructions in the instruction manual strictly to avoid damaging the electrode or instrument, or obtaining inaccurate measurement results.
- Lactate electrodes generally require regular calibration and maintenance. Cleaning and maintenance should be carried out according to the instructions according to the frequency of use and requirements.
