Carbon dioxide electrode

Carbon dioxide electrode is an electrochemical sensor used to detect and measure carbon dioxide concentration. It usually consists of a pair of electrodes and a housing containing an electrolyte solution immersed therein. One of the electrodes is the working electrode and the other is the reference electrode, and the difference in potential between the two represents the change in carbon dioxide concentration.

The CO2 electrode is mainly used for gas analysis in environmental monitoring, biological research and industrial processes. It can perform fast and accurate measurements and has the advantages of high sensitivity, fast response time and low energy consumption.

It should be noted that the carbon dioxide electrode is also very sensitive to the temperature, humidity and other gas concentrations of its environment, so special attention should be paid to the influence of environmental factors during use and calibration.

Carbon dioxide electrodes are mainly used to measure and detect carbon dioxide concentration in the environment, and are often used in air quality monitoring, climate change research, agricultural production, greenhouse control and other fields. In addition, carbon dioxide electrodes can also be used in biology, medicine and food science, such as measuring carbon dioxide content in biological cells, monitoring respiration and metabolic processes, and determining carbon dioxide content in food.
