The principle of the silver needle thermal conductivity inspection instrument is to detect the heat distribution in equipment or pipelines by utilizing the thermal conductivity of silver needles.

Thermal conductivity inspection instrument usually consists of the following main parts:

1. Silver needle probe: The probe is made of pure silver material with good thermal conductivity and can be close to the surface of the equipment or pipe under test.

2. Temperature sensor: Located inside the probe, it is used to measure the surface temperature that the silver needle probe contacts.

3. Temperature display and recording device: converts the temperature measured by the sensor into a digital or analog signal, and displays or records it.

The principle is as follows:

1. Place the silver needle probe close to the surface of the equipment or pipe under test, so that the silver needle is in contact with the surface.

2. There will be differences in temperature distribution inside the equipment or pipeline under test. Some areas have higher temperatures and some areas have lower temperatures.

3. When the silver needle probe comes into contact with a higher temperature area, the temperature sensor will detect a relatively high temperature value.

4. When the silver needle probe touches an area with lower temperature, the temperature sensor will detect a relatively lower temperature value.

5. The temperature value measured by the temperature sensor will be converted into a digital or analog signal and displayed or recorded through the temperature display and recording device.

By measuring and comparing the temperatures in different areas, the heat distribution in the equipment or pipelines can be found, which can be used to implement equipment inspections and fault diagnosis.
