How to use the microbial identification instrument
The method of using the microbial identification instrument is as follows:
1. Turn on the power of the microbial identification instrument and turn it on after the temperature stabilizes.
2. Prepare the required working specimens, add 200ul of normal saline to each specimen, and add 1 drop of digestion solution to each specimen tube.
3. Turn on the microscope light, gently touch the bacterial colony with an inoculating loop, inoculate the specimen on the slide under the microscope light, and gently rotate the inoculating loop to disperse the colony.
4. Observe the colonies on the microscope slide and preliminarily classify the bacteria according to the shape, size, degree of protrusion, glossiness, color and other characteristics of the colonies.
5. Open the identification instrument software, scan the colonies on the microscope slide and input them into the identification instrument, which will then perform preliminary classification based on the characteristics of the colonies.
6. The identification results are divided into preliminary identification results and final identification results. The preliminary identification results can only determine the species to which the bacteria belong, while the final identification results can determine the genus or above level.
7. Select the closest bacterial species for diagnosis based on the identification results.
