Blood pressure monitoring equipment

Blood pressure monitoring equipment is mainly used to non-invasively automatically measure human blood pressure and display it on the LCD screen. There are two main types: wrist blood pressure monitoring equipment and finger blood pressure monitoring equipment.

The main advantages of wrist-type blood pressure monitoring equipment are that it is easy to carry and easy to operate. It can measure blood pressure anytime and anywhere, and can quickly understand blood pressure conditions. But there are also disadvantages, such as the measurement results may be inaccurate, they are not products approved and certified by the State Food and Drug Administration, and they do not have medical registration certification; some products have no anti-interference ability and poor accuracy; they do not have voice prompt functions, etc.

The main advantages of finger blood pressure monitoring equipment are accurate results, compliance with medical standards, and approval and certification by the State Food and Drug Administration; anti-interference ability, high accuracy; and voice prompt function. However, there are also disadvantages. For example, the operation is complicated, and the fingers need to be tied and compressed to stop bleeding. Some also need to be disinfected, which may cause discomfort to the fingers.

Therefore, when choosing blood pressure monitoring equipment, you need to choose the appropriate product based on personal needs and actual conditions.

According to different classification standards, blood pressure monitoring equipment has different classifications. According to the applicable groups, blood pressure monitoring equipment can be divided into the following categories:

1. Children's sphygmomanometer: a sphygmomanometer specially used to measure children's blood pressure.

2. Arm-type sphygmomanometer: This type of sphygmomanometer is generally suitable for adults. It measures blood pressure by applying pressure through the arm band.

3. Wrist sphygmomanometer: Suitable for patients with high blood pressure. Because traditional arm sphygmomanometers are not suitable for people whose upper arm blood pressure is extremely low due to vascular disease, wrist sphygmomanometers have emerged.

4. Finger sphygmomanometer: It measures the finger instead of the arm. It is supplied by a finger sphygmomanometer and a finger blood pressure autograph. It can continuously measure and record dynamic changes in blood pressure.

5. Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring: It is a 24-hour blood pressure monitoring system that can automatically print out 24-hour blood pressure values.

6. Electronic sphygmomanometer: The sphygmomanometer developed using electronic technology has the advantages of memoryless steel wire, self-turning backlight and time and date display, highly clear color LCD screen display, full Chinese operation, and automatic printer shutdown prompts.

According to the monitoring method, it can also be divided into invasive blood pressure and non-invasive blood pressure. Invasive blood pressure requires puncture of blood vessels and has disadvantages such as inconvenience. However, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring is currently more widely used in clinical applications, including office blood pressure, home blood pressure and ambulatory blood pressure.
