How to use and precautions for microbial turbidimeter
1. Usage
1. Preparation: Take out the turbidimeter, clean the outer surface, disinfect the working room surface, and inject enough standard sample solution.
2. Sampling: Take a sample from the solution to be tested using a sampler or pipette and inject it directly into the turbidimeter working chamber.
3. Record the readings: Read the turbidity value displayed by the turbidimeter or the turbidity value displayed in the PC software and record it.
4. Cleaning: After each use of the turbidimeter, clean the working room, pipette and pipes to avoid contamination of the sample.
5. Calibrate instruments: Calibrate instruments regularly to ensure their accuracy.
Note: When using the microbial turbidimeter, it should be noted that appropriate standard sample solutions should be selected for calibration according to the sample type, and the sample temperature should be kept stable to avoid errors.
2. Precautions
1. Disinfection is required before operation and it should be kept clean to avoid infection.
2. Zero point calibration should be performed before use and regular calibration should be performed during use to ensure accuracy.
3. The reference solution used should comply with the experimental requirements and should be calibrated before each use.
4. If the display is found to be inaccurate or if there is a suspected equipment failure, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection to prevent the error from expanding.
5. After the operation is completed, the equipment must be cleaned and disinfected in time to avoid contamination and cross infection.
6. Pay attention to safety during operation, avoid contamination and harm from chemicals or microorganisms, and keep the experimental site clean and tidy.
7. If the equipment is not used for a long time, it should be maintained and serviced in time to ensure the normal operation and service life of the equipment.
