Principle and usage of drug transdermal diffusion instrument

The drug transdermal diffusion meter is an instrument used to measure the amount of drug that penetrates into the body through the skin. Its principle is to use chemical or physical means to penetrate the drug through the stratum corneum of the skin into the subcutaneous tissue or blood, and then determine the drug's transdermal diffusion speed and transdermal penetration rate and other parameters through the analysis of drug quality differences, and evaluate the drug's absorption and transfer properties on the skin by calculating the drug's delivery rate. Drug transdermal diffusion meters usually come in two forms: laboratory use cases and wearable types, and can be widely used in drug research and development, clinical testing, and treatment monitoring.

Instructions:

1. Preparation

Remove the transdermal diffusion device and place it on a level surface and plug it in. Place the cell culture dish or human tissue sample on the device (a transdermal patch is required if used on humans).

2. Set parameters

Set the parameters of the transdermal diffusion instrument according to the experimental requirements, such as temperature, humidity, film thickness and time, etc. These parameters can be adjusted and modified according to different drugs and experimental equipment.

3. Adjust the sample

Add the drug to the cell culture dish or transdermal patch and make sure the sample is in a tight fit. If using a transdermal patch, the skin should be cleaned with detergent and disinfected with alcohol before fixing the transdermal patch on the skin being tested.

4. Start the experiment

Start the transdermal diffusion instrument and begin the experiment. During the experiment, you can observe the speed and amount of drug passing through the cell membrane by monitoring the display on the instrument. Once the experiment is completed, turn off the instrument and remove the sample.

5. Data Analysis

The experimental results and data are analyzed to obtain more information about the nature and mechanism of drug permeation through the cell membrane. Statistical methods can be used to analyze the data to obtain precise results.
