According to different classification standards, prothrombin time detectors can be classified into the following categories:
1. According to the detection principle, it can be divided into coagulation method prothrombin detector and luminescence method prothrombin detector. The coagulation method prothrombin detector is based on the reaction of prothrombin with coagulant in plasma, and the plasma coagulation time is observed through the test paper to detect the prothrombin time. The luminescence method prothrombin detector is based on the principle of light absorption, using chromophores to label antibodies or antigens, specifically binding with the corresponding components in the sample, and measuring the changes in light absorption values to detect the prothrombin time.
2. According to the manufacturer, it can be divided into fully automatic prothrombin time detector and semi-automatic prothrombin time detector. Fully automatic prothrombin time detector is an instrument with functions such as automatic sampling, automatic detection, and automatic calculation, which can greatly improve the accuracy and stability of the detection. Semi-automatic prothrombin time detector is an instrument with functions such as manual sampling, manual detection, and manual calculation, and its accuracy is relatively low.
3. According to the detection speed, it can be divided into rapid prothrombin time detector and conventional prothrombin time detector. Rapid prothrombin time detector has a faster detection speed, usually completing the detection within a few minutes, and is suitable for emergency or rapid screening. Conventional prothrombin time detector has a slower detection speed, usually requiring dozens of minutes or several hours to complete the detection, and is suitable for conventional laboratories or large-scale screening.
