Bilirubin analyzer

The bilirubin analyzer is mainly used for quantitative determination of bilirubin in serum and peripheral blood; it is suitable for the diagnosis of neonates, hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, cholecystitis, pancreatic head cancer, internal bleeding, anemia and other diseases. The instrument has the characteristics of high sensitivity, good reproducibility, easy and rapid operation.

The bilirubin analyzer mainly measures the bilirubin concentration in the patient's blood through a fluorescence photometer. Mainly used in clinical applications, it can accurately determine whether a patient has liver cell necrosis or cholestasis, and can better evaluate the patient's condition. In newborns, a bilirubin analyzer can be used to evaluate treatment for jaundice.

The principle of the bilirubin analyzer is mainly based on the sensitivity of the optical couple to bilirubin. When bilirubin enters the visible range of the human eye, it will produce an obvious color change, thus providing a basis for diagnosis by doctors. Specifically, when a blood sample is placed into the test well, unconjugated bilirubin in the blood combines with the diazo reagent to produce reduced bilirubin. Reduced bilirubin reacts with the chromogen to produce a reduced dye with maximum absorption at 450 nm. When there is no bilirubin in the blood, the color of the test area is yellow. When the bilirubin in the blood increases, the color change is more obvious. Therefore, a spectrophotometer can be used to measure the reflected light intensity at a wavelength of 450nm, and then the blood is obtained through the standard curve. The concentration of bilirubin in the sample.
