Precautions for disposable use of DNA immunoadsorption columns

1. Before starting the procedure, make sure that the instrument and reagents are ready and the column is assembled.

2. Carefully read and follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to understand the operating steps and precautions.

3. Wear gloves during operation to prevent contamination and cross-contamination.

4. Dilute the DNA sample appropriately before processing to ensure optimal reaction conditions for the sample and reagents.

5. Carry out the injection and washing steps strictly according to the specified flow rate to avoid excessive column pressure or too fast flow rate.

6. Try to avoid contact with and contamination of the upper part of the purification column to prevent sample damage or contamination.

7. Use sterile and RNase-free reagents to prevent DNA degradation.

8. Try to avoid air bubbles entering the column. You can use a slow flow rate and special flushing fluid for exhaust.

9. During the elution step, use an appropriate concentration of elution buffer and operate at the specified flow rate to ensure maximum recovery of DNA.

10. After the operation is completed, be sure to discard the used column or discard it after appropriate sterilization to avoid cross-contamination.

11. Record the detailed information of each operation, including the batch number of samples and reagents used, to help trace and troubleshoot potential problems.

Please note that the above precautions are for reference only. Please make sure to read and follow the instruction manual and manufacturer's recommendations before specific operations.
