How to use gamma ray detector and precautions

How to use :

1. Before starting up, you need to confirm whether the power supply and instrument are normal.
2. Place the gamma ray detector in the area to be detected to ensure accurate measurement.
3. Install the gamma ray probe on the probe part of the instrument and ensure that the connection between the probe and the instrument is correct.
4. Press the power on button on the instrument, and the instrument will start the self-test program.
5. After successful startup, select and set the desired measurement mode on the screen.
6. Change the measurement parameters of the instrument according to needs, such as magnification, threshold, etc.
7. When measuring, move the probe slowly to measure the gamma ray radiation intensity near the target surface.
8. Analyze and obtain the required data information through numerical data and reports displayed on the screen.

Precautions:

1. Keep the instrument clean and dry: As a high-precision gamma ray detector, the surface of the instrument needs to be kept dry to prevent dust and moisture from affecting the precision and accuracy of the instrument.
2. Avoid interference from strong magnetic fields and electric fields: Gamma ray detectors are very sensitive to strong magnetic fields and electric fields. When using them, you should try to avoid working in these environments to avoid interfering with measurement accuracy.
3. Avoid contact with other radiation sources: When using a gamma ray detector, you need to avoid contact with other radiation sources as much as possible to avoid interfering with the gamma ray measurement results.
4. Pay attention to check the power supply and battery status of the instrument: Gamma ray detectors require stable power supply and sufficient battery power. Carefully check the power supply and battery status before use to ensure that the instrument can be used normally.
5. Strictly abide by the operating procedures and safety precautions: The gamma ray detector is a high-precision instrument. Before use, you should read the instrument's operating manual in detail, familiarize yourself with the usage methods and precautions of the instrument, and strictly abide by the relevant safety regulations to ensure personal safety and proper instrument operation.
